I just viewed this incredible training video by my friends, Ray and Ferny, on how to use Google to position yourself as a leader within your company, even if you’ve never sponsored a single soul.
It’s basically talking about controlling the information that is out there about you and your company, so that everytime someone Google’s your name or your company name, they keep running into YOU.
This in turn, signals to your leads that you are the right person to be signing up with and attracts people who are looking to your your exact company!
Prospects don’t get any hotter than this. Kudos to Ferny & Ray for continuing to deliver powerful training:

Before you can take full of advantage of all that social media has to offer, you must begin by understanding the different types which exist today. Once you have a grasp on what exactly you are dealing with, you will be better equipped to use them to their ultimate potential.
Many people think that social media, in business terms, can only be used to promote your website. However it can take on a more active role including publishing or hosting duties. For example, sites like WordPress and Xanga offer simple yet excellent blogging programs. Any business can sign and use these sites to publish their own blogs. In some cases these blogs may actually serve as the company’s primary website. The truly great thing is that many of these social media sites come outfitted with a built-in target audience complete with shared interests.
Popular social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace play host to an endless list of both large and small businesses. With millions upon millions of registered users online every day they offer the ultimate in free exposure and publicity. It is incredibly easy to sign up for a profile page and most of these sites offer their services completely free of charge.
A slew of other options exist in the realm of social media. For example, social bookmarking sites offer users the opportunity to post and share links to their favorite websites. There is no rule that says you cannot set up a link to your own website. Some popular examples of such sites include Digg, StumbleUpon and Del.icio.us.
LinkedIn is a great social networking site which allows professionals to mix with one another as well as their clients. It’s a great place to make contacts and further develop professional relationships.
You can always decide to host your own social media programs on your own website. That would include anything from publishing a blog, to hosting a community forum, to posting informative podcasts or videos. It also gives online business leaders the chance to interact with their own clients on a more intimate level.
Marketing through social media is a timely investment however the rewards are noticeable. The fact that these social media outlets allow personal relationships to be built atop professional relationships makes them truly remarkable and unique opportunities.

When running a business online, you will quickly learn there are countless responsibilities you need to take care of. You are the writer, designer, customer service, and most importantly the marketer. In order to let people know you exist on the internet, it is crucial you piece together a highly effective marketing plan. Here are some secrets to marketing your business on the internet.
First and foremost, you have to be willing to network and interact with people. The days of you posting an ad and hoping for the best are over. With the increased popularity in social sites and forums, the best way to market your business is by networking.
As you begin interacting with people in forums and on sites like Facebook and Twitter, take the time to actually listen to what people have to say. Instead of ranting on and on about the benefits and features of your business, listen to what people are looking for. After you have listened, you can then present your business in a way that is appealing to that particular person. People want to be heard and want to feel special; not just another person you are trying to make a sell out of.
Last on the list of secrets to marketing your business on the internet is finding your target market. Although there is no such thing as bad traffic there is wasted traffic which consists of people coming to your site with no intentions of buying. The beauty of marketing on the internet is that it is incredibly easy to reach your target market. Whether you are posting articles in specific categories or socializing with people in specific forum categories, make sure you are always marketing to a specific crowd.

When starting an online home business you are going to be faced with a number of difficult decisions and a plethora of responsibilities. While it can be a bit overwhelming at first, the rewards make it all worthwhile if you pursue the business in the right way. Here are three pieces to the puzzle that can help you get started on the right foot.
1. Have a plan
The number one mistake many entrepreneurs make is diving head first into the world of internet marketing blindfolded. If you truly want to succeed on the internet you have to have an in-depth plan to follow. You want to know who you will be marketing to, how you will reach them, what products or services you will be promoting, and which direction you want to take your business.
2. Set goals
The second piece of the puzzle to getting started with your online home business is setting goals. It can be difficult to stay on track with the endless amount of freedom and constant distractions that present themselves to you. Setting goals will help you remain focused on the task at hand. Make sure your goals challenge you but are not out of reach.
3. Ask for help
The last piece of advice is never be too arrogant about your online home business. Far too many entrepreneurs get excited about having a business of their own and do not want to ask for assistance. What you need to realize is a majority of the top internet marketers got to where they are by asking for help. There is no better way to find the right path than to do so with advice from people who have already gone down this road.

One of the most difficult things entrepreneurs and internet marketing newbie’s struggle with is balancing their time properly. You are going to be faced with a plethora of different responsibilities including adding new content, developing your web site, and staying on top of customer service. However, one of the most crucial facets to running a home business is staying consistent with your online marketing.
Online marketing is precisely what is going to generate traffic and sells for your business. Without any traffic coming in you have no way of making money online. For this reason, it is vital you develop an in-depth marketing campaign that can bring you continuous traffic.
What many people do not understand is the meaning of “consistent” marketing. If you post in a few forums and submit an article two or three times a week, you are not going to get the results you had hoped for. In order to truly benefit from your marketing, you need to be promoting and advertising at least two to three hours every day.
The amount of entrepreneurs and internet marketers online grows every day; especially due to the recent recession. For this reason, you need to be on top of your online marketing so that you can reel in new traffic every day.
The last thing to take note of is that your online marketing efforts are not done as soon as you have a steady traffic flow. With the amount of competition online, you never have room to relax. No matter how much traffic you have coming in just know that you can never have too much. And just because you have traffic today does not mean you will tomorrow. Stay consistent with your marketing efforts and you will continue to see results.
